I don’t really like to use my internet platform for anything but supporting bands I like, but it makes me crazy that this band and its many compatriots in the movement to reanimate the corpse of 1982 are so widely lauded. You know what I like in hardcore? Originality. Records like this are to hardcore/punk what bands like Sha Na Na were to rock n’ roll in 1982. No one thought Sha Na Na was the best rock n’ roll had to offer in 1982. What’s the hardcore scene’s problem?
